Sunrise City Adventures was created by myself, Justin Buzzi, owner of the Get Up And Go Kayaking Franchise established in 2016 and Charles Lumpkin from Get Up And Go Kayaking – Fort Pierce! The purpose is to create an amazing experience within Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. Charles and I both grew up on the Treasure Coast and have an immense passion for the growth and sustainability in the area. While we’ve been known to give incredible clear kayak guided tours, we are now excited to also offer kayak and SUP rentals at the State Park.
Our mission aligns with that of Fort Pierce Inlet State Park and we are excited to utilize our top notch customer service along with eco-conscious rentals and guided tours. Operating from within the State Park allows for expanded exploration for all of our guests. The Park has great beaches, clean restrooms + facilities, walking/biking trails, and the chance to see some unique Florida wildlife.

Charlie Lumpkin
Charlie is the owner of Get Up And Go Kayaking – Fort Pierce + Vero Beach! He was born and raised in Fort Pierce has served in the US Army, Fort Pierce PD, and is currently with Port St Lucie PD! Charlie has a love for anything local and you’ll likely catch him on a food tour while traveling or zooming down the ski slopes. He has been married to his wife, Angelika, for almost 33 years and has raised 2 children – Charles Jr and Christia. Charlie has been a Police Officer the last 24 years and loves having our guests experience a side of Fort Pierce that few ever see! He finds any excuse he can to enjoy the outdoors and what Fort Pierce has to offer!
