One of the most special things about the park is its location on the Atlantic coast. The park is situated on the north jetty of the Fort Pierce Inlet. Visitors can enjoy the natural beauty of the inlet and the Atlantic coast, and have the opportunity to see a wide variety of marine life and bird species.
Another special feature of the park is its diverse ecosystem. The park is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life, including mangroves, seagrass beds, and salt marshes, which are all important habitats for many species of fish, birds, and reptiles. Visitors can also see manatees, sea turtles and dolphins, which are known to frequent the area.
The park also offers a variety of recreational opportunities. Visitors can swim, sunbathe, fish, and explore the park’s hiking trails. Kayaking is a popular activity in the park, as it allows visitors to explore the park’s waterways and see the park’s diverse wildlife and habitats up close.
